Sheffield is the fourth largest city in England yet is just a few miles away from the Peak District National Park renowned for its beautiful scenery, wonderful walks and an ideal location for climbers of all abilities.
This extremely green and vibrant city proudly holds the title of being the first National City of Sport with world class venues for athletics, swimming and football. It also has numerous golf courses, a ski village and caters for many other sporting interests.
The two universities and other further education establishments host over 40,000 students who are catered for with a wide variety of cultural, sporting and social outlets with galleries, theatres, cinemas, bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping outlets to suit all tastes.
Housing in the city is of excellent value, there are good quality schools and colleges and good transport links to the rest of the UK.
