We are looking for highly motivated, effective and dedicated Specialty Doctors with broad experience to work in the Emergency Department and a new Unplanned Care Centre. A major refurbishment and growth in activity will ensure that the Doncaster Royal Infirmary site will see in excess of 100,000 patients per year.
In the newly developed organizational structure candidates will be part of the Emergency Medicine, Unplanned Care and Out of Hours Clinical Service Unit and professionally accountable to our exceptionally innovative Clinical Director. The Unit benefits from added day to day management through a dedicated General Manager who together with the Matron for Emergency Medicine complete an excellent Management Team.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POST

Seeing, examining and treating new patients where appropriate. The successful candidate is expected to be ALS, ATLS, APLS or EPLS provider. The military
equivalent to these qualifications will also be accepted.

Assistance and supervision of the F1, F2 and GP VTS doctors with the reception and management of the whole range of Accident and Emergency cases.

Sharing the clinical work with Consultants as appropriate.

Commitment to the job and own personal development.

Willingness to work across Trust site.
